Ballet

Emmy is now in ballet. She started last monday. I went along for the first class and took pictures. She was so cute! I am excited for her to have something to get her out of the house and around kids her age. The instuctor, Melissa, is really nice and Emilee seems to like her. She is going to have a recital in May. And for those of you that have Albertsons cards you can set up the community parters program to help out the ballet studio. just go to www.albertsonscp.com and the organization number is 49000121755 and it is Capital City Youth Ballet. The form has to be filled out by Feb 28th so hurry!

All good things must come to an end....

Emmy's family party. I have to say Joe and Becky scored two years in a row! Emmy still sleeps every nite with her Joe and Becky blanket from last year and she loves the chair! She actually tried to sleep in it one night. You would think that after celebrating her birthday for a week I would of adjusted to her being 4 but I still cant believe it!

Tea Party

The Friday after Ems Birthday we did a Tea Party with her friends. She had lots of fun playing and drinking apple juice in little glass cups. She also got the camera that she had been hoping for! Ill have to download her pictures and post a few. She has been snapping pictures nonstop, that is til the batteries died and gave us a rest!

Princess Emmy

Emmy got a princess crown and necklace and earrings for her birthday and wanted a picture all dolled up! She did get a little upset when Jake stole the spotlight.

Em and Lora

We have been very blessed with awesome neighbors and a friend for Emmy. The week of her birthday Lora came over and I snapped some pictures of them playing. After running around they snuggled up and watched Mulan and had Peanut Butter and Honey sandwiches for dinner. (Emmys favorite) I am glad that Emmy has found someone to pal around with. It has made getting her to go to primary alot easier and it gives her someone other then Jake to play with.

Just the start of things.....

So, we had more of a birthday week than anything. Since Ems birthday was a Monday and her parties were going to be on Friday and Saturday we let her open a few presents on her actual Birthday. Mulan was a hit for sure. I know I have watched it atleast 50 times already! Then on Tuesday (I think) Nana and Gpa Jim took us to Mcdonalds for dinner and the kids played in the toys for a while. Emilee was super excited to get a happy meal for her birthday.

Our own Ruby

Ryan and Erica sent Emilee this doll for her birthday and as you can see it was a hit. "Ruby" as Emilee has named her goes everywhere with us and Emilee is a good mama. The other day she fell asleep in the car and I carried her in to her bed. As I was going out she sat up and asked if I brought her baby in from the car. We have set up a bed in her room next to her and she tucks her in and Ruby stays there with the door closed while Ava is at our house so Ava wont play with her. She loves her baby!

Work in Progress

So..... Sorry it has been a slow month for our blog. We have a ton of pictures that I want to get up but we are having computer problems and the pictures are currently on the computer that is not working. Hopefully we will get everything squared away and do better next month!
By the way.... Emilees birthday pictures will be coming soon to all of you who are waiting. I still cant believe she is 4. Other then her birthday it has been a slow month for us. We enjoyed having Will home for a while and are now getting back into the swing of things with school. Hope you all are enjoying the new year!

Our New Camera

We finally got our new camera! and I love it! I thought I would post a few of my favorite snapshots of the kids. I have been driving them crazy snapping pictures all the time. They are just too cute!

4 years and counting.....

Emmy Jo is 4! I cant believe how grown up she has become! Where has the time gone! It seems like just yesterday she was a newborn and here she is a big girl! She has become such a great kid. I have started watching a friends little girl during the day monday thru friday and Emilee is my helper. She is always watching out for Jake and Ava and keeping them busy with toys and games. She still loves princesses, Cinderella expecially and is excited that we are having a Princess Tea Party for her birthday on friday with her friends. What a great kid I have!
