I had hoped it would be nice by the time we got to the falls since it had been on and off again raining in the car but it was on again. The kids still enjoyed getting out and taking a walk up to see the water.
After getting back in the car and taking the scenic route through Portland (thank you mapquest) we were finally on the right road to Oceanside. The house we stayed in was beautiful. It had a great view and was a short walk to the beach. In the picture it is almost dead center in the houses. The kids loved being able to look out the windows and see the Ocean below.
Since the kids had never been to the beach we took them down even though it was a little stormy.
Day 2
The next day we hit the Tillamook Cheese Factory. (actually I think we ate ice cream there every day) The kids had a blast getting to see the cheese being packaged. They also loved all the cow stuff. We had lots of Tricha comments while there.

After touring and tasting all the yummy cheese we had ice cream. The kids were funny trying to make up their mind on what they wanted. But once they did they were 2 happy chillins.
After ice cream the kids hit the penny making machine. Everywhere we go we try to find a machine to bring back pennies from. The kids have started quite a collection.
and on the way out we stopped for a photo with the boat.
